Hey y’all and happy get-to-go-home day (that’s what I call my Thursdays because I get to finally fly home from Michigan!). Today is a big day!! Ryan and I are celebrating 10 MONTHS OF MARRIAGE! It’s been the fastest 10 months of my life, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world!
I realized I haven’t shared much about my husband with you guys yet so, in honor of 10 months of marriage, here’s 10 things you probably don’t know about us:
1. We got matching tattoos when we were 19-years-old. Any guesses what we got and where it is??
2. We used to sneak into the UNC football facility late at night to workout in the weight room.
3. On Spring Break my freshman year of college, I went to Florida with my sorority sisters and Ryan went home to West Virginia. I texted him the second day of Spring Break and jokingly asked him to come see me in Florida. He got in the car a few hours later and drove through the night from West Virginia to Florida!! That’s more than 12 hours, guys! He must’ve really like me haha!
4. Ryan’s favorite nicknames for me are Monkey and Momma… he also calls our puppy those same nicknames.
5. Ryan used to write me the sweetest letters alllll the time. I’d find them everywhere – on my car, my nightstand, my school binders… basically, he was the sweetest ever!
6. In my first semester of college in the fall of 2014, Ryan had class right before I did in the classroom next door, so we would see each other in passing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. One time he made a flirty comment to me as I walked by, so from then on I would leave early just so I could flirt with him in the hallway haha! It’s kinda weird to admit that, but is it cute because we’re married now??
7. We were engaged for 2 years before getting married.
8. Ryan had his proposal all planned out for the weekend AFTER he actually proposed. We were going to brunch with my parents one morning and he told my mom, “I can’t wait, Mrs. Tracy” and he decided to propose that day! We were in my hometown at Reynolda Gardens across from my church when he proposed and it was absolutely perfect anyways.
9. Our original wedding date was April 28, 2018. Does anyone know the significance of this date?! Ryan was traded from the Cowboys to the Raiders that day. Guys, how terrible would that have been?? I’m stressed just thinking about how the wedding would have gone after finding out that news. Crisis averted.
10. And last, but not least, Ryan set up a date night on the 5th floor of the UNC football center overlooking Kenan Stadium. He picked up Carrabbas and his roommate, Mitch Trubisky, served us our food and drinks. Here’s a picture below of this perfect date night!

My boyfriend and I are huge UNC fans (we always make date nights/days for football games) and Ryan was always my favorite. Weird fact, my friends made my 21st birthday sign of Ryan because I asked for something UNC related. Don’t know if he would remember, but he quote tweeted it on Twitter a year and a half ago haha! When you guys were there, I would always see him on the big screen when it was playing the clips of everyone dancing. Just loved his personality!
